Sunday has just barely started and already this has been a great weekend.
Friday night's game was a blast. Our Homecoming game was awesome! We actually one, and by a huge margin too. 4 interceptions! Crazy stuff. The elephant was pretty cool too.
Saturday was much more enjoyable. Saturday was first started by playing Halo with a bunch of friends in the wee hours of the morning, then doing some of my Physics Egg Drop Project.
The most enjoyable part of this weekend thus far was going to the WOW GK Dinner Show at the Westin Hotel at Long Beach. I got to hang out with a few friends whom I haven't seen in a month! That was most enjoyable.
This whole GK thing simply amazes me. I really wish all of you could have seen and heard what was going on this past night. I have found a new love for the Philippines. And tonight showed me that there are great people out there (I have always known this but lately its been rare to see that). I listened to a speaker who has supported GK for awhile now. He was once the 9th wealthiest man under the age of 30 in England. And now he donates and supports GK. Its such a wonderful thing he does. After seeing the Philippines and GK for the first time, he incidently bought a new car. It was a M3 and according to him, the money he spent could have bought 80 new GK houses. Once he realized that, he couldn't stand to look at the car so he sold it back and created a new GK village called the BMW M3 GK Village. I wish I could tell all of you his whole story.
He's quite the comedian too:
"For those of you who aren't Filipino, balut is an abortion for breakfast." (Laughs)
